Elven Dwayne Simmons, age 53 of West Plains, MO was born August 1, 1956 in Palo Pinto, TX and passed away October 14, 2009 at his home. Survivors include; his wife Renita, six children, Dwayne Simmons, Aaron Simmons, Delilah Hamm, Gary Simmons, Sally Simmons and Louise Simmons, five grandchildren, his mother, Edna Simmons, five brothers, Charles, Luke, Jerry, Sammy and Calvin Simmons, four sisters, Jenesce Shepard, Jenell York, Jenene Hall and Jenette Kirkpatrick. Preceding him in death was his father, Louie Simmons and one brother, Van Simmons. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Clinton Massa officiating, with burial in the Fryatt Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
