Shirley Lavenia (Adams) Collins, age 69, of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born May 5, 1940, in Heart, AR, and passed away July 30, 2009, at her home. Survivors include: her husband, Freddie R. Collins, of the home; 2 daughters, Sandra De Ross and husband Steve, and Donna Sue Harper and husband Rodney; 3 sons, Tommie Collins and wife Sally, Terry Collins and wife Denice, and Ricky Lee Collins; 1 brother, Harold Paul Adams and wife Janet; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Collins, John Folsum, Darren Folsum, Tommie Collins, Jr., Steven Ross, Jr., Scott Ross, Ryan Humes, and Jared Harper; 1 great-grandchild, Paul Folsum ; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Chester and Otha (Cooper) Adams; and 1 brother, Donnie Adams. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO, with Bro. Rick Brothers officiating, and interment in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Saturday, August 1, 2009, at the Clary Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
