Edith Emma Hopper, age 92 of Thayer, MO was born November 25, 1915 in Oregon County, MO and passed away September 29, 2008 at the National Healthcare Center, West Plains, MO. Survivors include, six children, Norma Johnson and husband James of West Plains, MO, Mary Combs of West Plains, MO, Dorris Hopper of Gatewood, MO, Howard Hopper and wife Faye of Springfield, MO, Harold Hopper and wife Betty of Barnett, MO, Ronnie Hopper of St. Clair, MO, 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Samuel and Nancy Brewer Williams, her husband, George Lee Hopper, one daughter, Ann Deckard, two sisters and three brothers. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Cotton Creek Cemetery with Bro. Joe Garrison officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO. |
