Rosetta Watts, of Alton, MO (previously of Birch Tree, MO), was born February 14, 1934, in Lonestar, MO, and passed away June 23, 2008, at her home in Alton, MO, at the age of 74. Survivors include: her husband, Raymond Watts of Alton, MO; 2 daughters, Bernice Simmons of Alton, MO, and Nina Bacon and husband Ron of Clinton, OK; 2 sons, Joe Farris and wife Cheryl of Mtn. View, MO, and Otis Farris of Winona, MO; 1 step-daughter, Elaine, of Greenville, MO; 2 sisters, Ruth White of Tallapoosa, MO, and Thelma Harris and husband Tom of Piedmont, MO; 19 grandchildren, Eve, Nick, Shelley, Freedom, Joe, Remy, Matthew, Aaron, Brandon, LaTasha, DeDe, Otis William, Forrest, Errick, Matthew, Brad Bacon, Rex, Danielle, and Tyler; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Luchin and Nina (Gregory) Patterson; her son-in-law, Van Simmons; 1 daughter, Kay; and 1 brother, Bill. Rosetta was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Services will be 2pm Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO, with burial following in the Simmons family cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-8pm Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the Clary Funeral Home. Arrangements are being made under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
