Eunice Marie Lainchbury was born December 23, 1939, in Alton, MO to Rev. Samuel and Clares Johnson and passed away March 12, 2022. There were eight sisters and five brothers. Eunice went to Alton High School and graduated in 1957. She attended college in Modesto, CA. She loved to travel and lived in five different states as well as British Columbia, Canada. She moved back home to Alton after her husband passed away. She joined Victory Freewill Baptist Church and became attached to her church family, with a real heart for the youth and young adults. Eunice was a real prayer warrior for the young people in her church, her God and her family was her life. She is survived by three children, Debi Lawson, Rick Matthew Morris and Dennis Odom, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, bothers, sisters, lots of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Fred and daughter Brenda. Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Bro. Jason Roberts officiating. Interment in the Huddleston Cemetery, Alton, MO. |
