Harvey Lee Savage, age 84 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born December 13, 1936, in Portageville, MO, and passed away May 12, 2021, at the Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, MO. He was married to his wife, Loretta (Wilson) Savage, for 65 years.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Loretta; children Sheila McComas & husband Frank, Harvey Gene Savage & wife Jackie, Lee Savage, Phillip Savage & wife Beth, Sam Savage & wife Pam; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives & friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Samuel & Noretta (Baynes) Savage; his beloved daughter, Julie Laframboise; 3 great-grandchildren, Cherith Reynolds, Levi Reynolds, & Abram McComas.

Harvey was a Christian man with a deep love for his Lord. He attended church at Christian Tabernacle in Hardy, AR. He was a meat cutter by trade working many years at Wallace and Owens in Thayer. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and junking. For many years he played his guitar at church which he enjoyed immensely. He also loved pulling pranks and joking with his family and friends. Harvey loved life and the joys that came with having raised a large family. He loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Being a papa was a title he cherished. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Christian Tabernacle in Hardy, AR, with burial following in the Eagle Rest Cemetery in Hardy, AR. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm just prior to the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
