Jerry, Danny and Family so sorry for your loss Herman was my classmate of the Class of of 1962 of Ole Alton High. I liked Herman whom we nicknamed him Hick. Jerry and the Family will all miss him I am sure. Years ago in my gas pumping career I was out front as usually and all at once I heard this person laughing and I recognize the laugh which I hadn't heard in years it was Hick and I was glad to see him. Herman Hick took pride in the Chips he sold Frito Lay. Six days older than me. Keep the light on. Miss you Herman Hick

My dearest Mom~

I am so sorry for your loss, It breaks my heart to think about you having to be alone, It's no secret that Herman and I could not be in a room together 10 minutes without starting World War 3, but there is one thing we shared deeply together~ Our love for you ~ and I know he was your world and even though I could not find a way to show him how much I cared while he was alive, a part of me will miss and love him always, Sometimes one's pride and too much of the Harry K. bloodline isn't always a good thing~ I pray you always cherish those moments and memories you shared with Herman, as they will only be a heartbeat away, and on those days when you are feeling most lonely, just search your heart and he will be there with you~ I love you with all my heart and soul~
