William Michael "Bill" Tibbits, Sr., age 54 of Mammoth Spring, AR, was born November 4, 1956, in Alexandria, LA, and passed April 27, 2011, at his home.

He is survived by: his wife, Penelope (Penny) Duhon, of the home; 9 children, Mendy Benoit of Sulphur, LA, Billie Jo Murphy of Woodville, TX, Monique Rogers of Nacogdochez, TX, William (Mike) Tibbits, Jr., of Fordouche, LA, Brandon (B.J.) Tibbits of Mammoth Spring, AR, Shawna Osborne of West Plains, MO, Thomas Reid, II of Okonowa, Japan, Chantel Barnes of Glendive, MT, and Harley Tibbits of Mammoth Spring, AR; 12 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Courtney Smith of Lott, TX, Betina of Sulphur, LA, Diana of Texas; 1 brother, Shannon Smith of Bastrop, LA; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded by his parents, Bill Smith and Juanice Barron; and 1 sister, Barbara Ann Tibbits.

Graveside services will be 2pm Monday, May 2, 2011, at the Bronaugh Cemetery (Spring River Baptist Church) in Hardy, MO, with Bro. Hank McElderrly officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
