James Ray Neldon, age 40 of Alton, MO was born May 31, 1970 in St. Louis, MO and passed away February 26, 2011 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

He was united in marriage to Leanna Cobbs Neldon, who preceded him death. To this union three children were born. Next he married Denise Schierold Neldon with three step-children. He then married Amanda McKee Neldon with one step-daughter and two children born to this union.

Survivors include; his wife, Amanda McKee Neldon, of the home, his mother, Julie Fay Crabtree Neldon Buckner of Alton, siblings, Nickie Fay Camp of Alton, Charolett Ann Taylor of Clearlake, CA, Donald Lee Neldon of Alton, Sherry Ann Woods, Linda Marie Neldon and Jacqueline Rae Neldon, all of Doniphan, MO, Billy Ray Neldon of Clearlake, CA, his children, Daniel John Jones and Emily Nicole Jones, both of Arnold, MO, Vonda Leo Ray Neldon, Brittany Ann Neldon, Cynthia Marie Neldon, Destiny Renee McKee, Josiah Dwayne Neldon, Sabra Faye Michelle Neldon, Amanda Cotton, all of Alton, MO, and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Ray Neldon.

James attended the Alton High School, when, after school and weekends he worked on a pheasant farm. After he was out of school he worked at numerous sawmills and for several trucking companies. James enjoyed being with all of his family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Doug Shafer officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
