Helen Louise “Ms. Pat” (Parker) McLaughlin, age 81 of Alton, MO, was born September 3, 1927, in Kansas City, KS, and passed away January 23, 2009, at National Health Care in West Plains, MO.

Survivors include: 1 daughter, Linda Vane & husband Graham of Pacifica, CA; 1 son, James McCoy and wife Ruby of Alton, MO; 2 grandchildren, James McCoy and April Torres; 3 great-grandchildren, James Colyer, Diego Torres, and Isabella Torres; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Ralph “Mac” McLaughlin, as well as her parents.

Helen’s wishes were to be cremated, with a memorial service to be held at 5pm Friday, January 30, 2009, at “Beer 30” in Alton, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, MO.
