Thomas Mark “Butch” Anderson, JR age 72 of Mammoth Spring, AR was born July 29, 1948 in Mammoth Spring, AR and passed away August 13, 2020 at Ozarks Medical Center. Survivors include three children Libby Salmon of Harrison AR, Trey Anderson (Brandi) of Mountain Home, AR, Lindsley Meyer (Cecil) of Mammoth Spring, AR, four grandchildren, Kobe and Sadie Meyer, Maggie Salmon and Laken Anderson, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Elizabeth Anderson. Butch loved all sports, basketball, baseball and fishing. He owned a canoe rental in Mammoth Spring for many years. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren playing ball. Butch was a member of the Welcome Hill Church of Christ in Mammoth Spring. He will be truly missed by his family and many friends. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Riverside Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR with Erman Croney officiating. Pallbearers JR Miller, Sonny Brown, Rick Denton, Trey Stewart, Marty Woolridge and Nolan Reed. Arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, MO.
