Finice Franklin Crase, 88, of Keytesville, MO passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Oxford Grand at Shoal Creek in Liberty, MO with his loving family by his side. Finice was born December 30, 1930 to William and Rosa Alberta (Combs) Crase in Myrtle, MO.

He is a Veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country.

After 25 years of dedicated service, Finice retired from General Motors as a Relief-person on the assembly line.

Finice enjoyed being outdoors playing golf, riding horses, training his beagles and Coonhound dogs for Field Trials competitions. He also had a passion for fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dortha (Lassiter) Crase on February 4, 2018; an infant daughter, Debra; both parents; siblings: Marie Weber, Lela Crase, Hazel Meyers, Henry Crase, Kenneth Crase.

Survived by his seven children: Larry Crase (Beverly) of Kansas City (North), MO; Diana Kummer (Richard) of Denver, CO; Linda Killey of Jacksonville, FL; Cindy Stevens (Jim) of Ada, OK; Gary Crase (Susan) of Grapevine, TX; Randy Crase (Joanne) of North Richland Hills, TX; Beverly Fuemmeler (Wes) of Salisbury, MO; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William “Bill” Crase of Keytesville, MO.

The family will receive friends at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Clary Funeral Home in Thayer, MO. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., at the chapel with burial at Cotton Creek Cemetery in Couch, MO. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.
